What is ERP?
An ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system keeps accounting, inventory, purchasing, production and HR on one database, so a stock movement posts to the books without anyone re-keying it. For a Thai business, the real test of an ERP is how it handles VAT, withholding tax, tax invoices, e-Tax Invoice and, where relevant, BOI reporting. ERP software is sold by its vendors and their implementation partners. SyncEdge sells no licences. We build an ERP from scratch when your work does not fit a packaged one, implement and customize Odoo ourselves, and advise on any product.

When packaged software forces your team to work around it, we design the ERP from your real process: quotations, orders, stock and production through to accounting and Thai tax. Every team enters data once and sees the same numbers.
Odoo Implementation and Custom Modules
When Odoo is the right fit, our engineers set it up themselves: accounting, inventory, purchasing, sales and manufacturing configured to your processes, Thai VAT and tax invoice settings, and custom Odoo modules for what the standard system does not cover, such as withholding tax certificates, e-Tax Invoice or an approval flow specific to your business.
ERP Rollout and Data Migration Plan
The move is planned before anything is installed: mapping the chart of accounts, preparing opening balances with their detail, choosing a cut-over date on a period boundary, and agreeing the pass criteria for running old and new systems in parallel.
Integration With Your Other Systems
Connecting the chosen ERP to e-commerce platforms, point of sale, payment gateways, logistics APIs and your own in-house systems is engineering work, and our engineers do it. Each connector is built to a defined data contract, so an update on one side does not quietly break the other.

We build custom ERPs and implement Odoo, but sell no ERP licences. When another product fits better, we recommend it.
There are two routes. We build an ERP from scratch when your process does not fit a packaged system, or we implement Odoo and write custom modules only for what it lacks. Both include data migration, integration with the systems you already run, and care after go-live. SyncEdge is not an official Odoo partner: Odoo Community is free to use, and an Odoo Enterprise subscription is bought from Odoo directly. For any other product, the software and its setup come from that vendor or its partner.
It depends on the product and the edition, which is why we test it with your transactions instead of trusting the brochure.
We check VAT and the tax invoice format the Revenue Code requires, every withholding rate you use along with PND 3/53 filings and withholding certificates, e-Tax Invoice & e-Receipt, and for BOI-promoted companies, whether promoted and non-promoted activities can be accounted for separately. International products can usually be made to do all of this, but often as extra configuration that is missing from the first quote.
There is no single price: it is the licence or subscription, implementation, and ongoing support added together, and implementation is the part most often underestimated.
Most ERP vendors in Thailand publish no price, because it depends on users, modules, branches, manufacturing complexity and how much legacy data has to move. For an Odoo implementation, the cost is driven by how many modules you switch on, how many custom modules are needed, and how much legacy data must be cleaned before it moves. Yes. Connectors between the ERP and your other systems are part of what we write, whether the ERP is one we build for you or Odoo.
Typical connections are online stores, point of sale, payment gateways, logistics providers, and software built in-house for work no ERP covers. We check during selection which integration methods each product actually offers, then build and test the connectors against a defined data contract, so an update on either side does not silently break the flow of data.
Do you support an ERP after go-live?
Yes, for a custom ERP we built or an Odoo system we implemented: SyncEdge supports it, including our custom modules, under a monthly retainer. For any other ERP, the software is supported by its vendor or implementation partner under your contract with them, and we look after the integrations we built. Either way, you can keep us on as your adviser when you add modules, branches or warehouses, or when a vendor proposal needs a second opinion.
Is a fully custom ERP or Odoo the better deal?
It depends on how different your work is. If accounting, stock and purchasing are standard, Odoo with custom modules for the gaps usually pays off. If your core process is what gives you the edge, such as costing formulas, make-to-order production or multi-level approvals, an ERP built around that process beats forcing the team to work around a product. Part of our job is telling you honestly which situation you are in.
